As of March 21th,
2014, 120 microbiological methods in the food industry
as well as 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified
NF VALIDATION. All the microbiological methods are validated
according to the EN
ISO 16140 standard protocol requirements.
During its meeting held on March 20th and
21st 2014, the NF VALIDATION Technical Board approved
- The validation renewal of the methods VIDAS CAM et CFA Agar (bioMérieux), RapidChek Select Salmonella (ROMER Labs Inc.), HQS Salmonella spp Sybr (ADNucleis), Test 3M Petrifilm Coliforms A, B and C (3M Health care)
- The extensions of the validation of the methods 3M Molecular Detection Assay Salmonella (3M Health Care) for new protocols (milk powders, cocoas, spice and aromatic herbs, tea, coffee, concentrates and culinary products), Thermo Scientific SureTect Salmonella, Thermo Scientific SureTec Listeria ssp and Thermo Scientific SureTect Listeria monocytogenes (OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific) for a new version of the SureTect software,GeneDisc E.coliO157 :H7 (Pall GeneDisc Technologies) for GeneDisc Top7, a new protocol for the analysis of raw beef meat with sample sizes of 50 g to 375 g, the modification of the enrichment volume used for the DNA extraction step for several protocols and the PFOOD 2 ready-to-use format, GeneDisc Salmonella (Pall GeneDisc Technologies) for a new protocol for the analysis of raw beef meat with sample sizes of 50 g to 375 g, the modification of the enrichment volume used for the DNA extraction step for several protocols and the PFOOD 2 ready-to-use format.

As of October 10th,
2013, 15 methods for microbiological water analysis
are certified NF VALIDATION. The methods for detection
/ quantification of Legionella using PCR are
certified according to a protocol based on NF T90-471
and ISO/TS 12869 standards. The other methods are certified
according to a technical protocol, developed by AFNOR
Certification, that compares the alternative method
to a standard method.
The Technical Board (general protocol) was held on
October 10th, 2013. During this session the NF VALIDATION
Technical Board approved by vote:
- The validation of the method Enterolert-DW/Quanti-Tray
- The validation renewal of the method Colilert-18/Quanti-Tray
